Backfilling Requirements for Borings

Bentonite or Cement/Bentonite to within 5 ft of surface; cement to surface (depending on conditions) Monitoring Well / Vapor Extraction Well Only

Backfilling Requirements for Monitoring Wells

Annular seals are site specific. Generally, bentonite is allowed in conditions where adequate moisture is available to keep hydrated. Cement is required at surface to depth where above conditions are met.
