Permit Fees

Boring

no fee

No permit required. Boring must be destroyed per CA Well Standard requirements within 48 hrs.

CPT Boring for lithologic logging

no fee

No permit required. Boring must be properly destroyed if groundwater is encountered.

Initial Monitoring Well

Subsequent Monitoring Well

Groundwater Sample

no fee

No permit required. Boring must be destroyed per CA Well Standard requirements within 48 hrs.

Vapor Extraction Well

No fee

permit may be required if groundwater encounter

Well Abandonment

Note: Charged for each well abandoned.

Backfilling Requirements for Borings

Bentonite or cement/bentonite or other material approved under the Califonria Well Standards. Must be tremied if deeper than 30 ft or if there is groundwater in the area to be sealed.

Backfilling Requirements for Monitoring Wells

Bentonite or cement/bentonite or other material approved under the Califonria Well Standards. Must be tremied if deeper than 30 ft of if there is groundwater in the area to be sealed.

Inspection Fees

Yes - inspection required. Please provide notice 48 hours in advance of any well destruction or permitted well construction for the sealing of the annular space.
