Permit Information

Permit Fees	Boring	$75.00	The DER fee is waived for: 1. Installations within the incorporated cities (Modesto, Ceres Oakdale, Riverbank, Hughson, Turlock, Newman, Patterson, Waterford), or 2. Where "dry" soil borings are made without capturing a groundwater sample.
	Subsequent Boring	$ 35.00 per well
	CPT Boring for lithologic logging	$ 75.00
	Subsequent CPT Boring for lithologic logging	$ 35.00 per well
	Initial Monitoring Well	$ 75.00
	Subsequent Monitoring Well	$ 35.00 per well
	Groundwater Sample	no fee
	Vapor Extraction Well	no fee
	Well Abandonment	no fee
Backfilling Requirements for Borings	Bentonite or cement/bentonite
