DIRECT PUSH RIGS and LIMITED ACCESS SERVICES
Gregg Drilling provides several alternatives to the standard drill rig or CPT truck in order to remain flexible to the changing needs of our clients. Gregg operates several small scale auger drill rigs that can be used to obtain direct push samples or drill small wells. The combination drill/direct push rig is a powerful tool allowing conversion to hollow stem auger mode when direct push refusal is encountered. This arrangement allows clients to meet project objectives without the costly waste of time to remobilize a second rig. Geotechnical and environmental samples can now be obtained in previously in-accessible areas thanks to the small limited access rigs. The ramset hand portable rig with a foot print of only 2’x 2’ minimizes site impact in confined or limited access areas of subsurface investigation. Gregg provides the following direct push services.
