A Familiar Project in Santa Barbara
One of our Southern California Gregg Remediation Teams are currently on a 4 week project in Santa Barbara. Todd Hanna has been involved in different phases of this project since 2006. Currently we are Injecting EOS Pro, an enriched emulsified vegetable oil (EVO) solution to help stimulate anaerobic bioremediation of chlorinated solvents in groundwater.
We are using a Geoprobe 7822to advance 5-foot long Injection tools, targeting 3 different water bearing zones, at 4 different treatment areas of the property.
The EOS Pro is being mixed in batches on our Injection Rig mix tanks. We are injecting into two (2) simultaneous direct push points at a flow rate of approximately 5 gpm each, with pressure around 50 psi.
Our 3-man crew consisting of Alex Jernigan, Sean Lance and Amner Ramos have a combined 21 years of In Situ Remediaiton experience. They are focusing on keeping the project safe, on schedule and on budget.
