dynamic pile testing
Gregg performs dynamic pile monitoring using the pile driving analyzer’s computer based data acquisition system. The software is based on the theory of stress wave propagation in piles, also known as the Case Method of pile testing. Accelerometers and strain gauges on the pile acquire wave data after the impact of a hammer or drop weight. The data is interpreted by the PDA and reduced by Gregg’s trained professionals to aid in the design of pile-supported structures.
